Agreement Between User and The Trauma Recovery School Ltd®
Welcome to The Trauma Recovery School Ltd®. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services we provide, including but not limited to the Trauma Impact Consultation & Assessment (the “Services”). By booking or engaging with our Services, you agree to these Terms, which prevail over any inconsistent terms or conditions contained elsewhere or implied by law, trade custom, practice, or course
of dealing.
This agreement is between The Trauma Recovery School Ltd® (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and you, the person purchasing our Services (“you”).
Electronic Communications
By engaging with us, you consent to receive communications electronically. You agree that all contracts, notices, information, and other communications provided electronically (via email, our website, or platforms) satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Services
Our Services include consultations, assessments, programmes, memberships and other coaching/therapy-related offerings. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver Services as described at the point of purchase, but we reserve the right to amend or adapt delivery where reasonably necessary. If you are late or fail to attend a scheduled consultation or assessment, the session will end at the scheduled time, and no refund will be provided. Rescheduling is at our discretion.
Trauma Impact Consultation & Assessment – Guarantee and Refund Policy
We are committed to delivering Services of clarity and value. For the Trauma Impact Consultation & Assessment, we offer the following conditional guarantee:
● If, after attending the full consultation and participating fully, you feel we have not provided clarity, direction, or value, you may request a full refund.
● Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the consultation and must include written feedback by email explaining your experience.
● Refunds will not be granted for missed appointments, missing or incomplete trauma impact assessments, partial attendance, or non-engagement.
● This guarantee is offered in good faith and may only be exercised once per client.

Payment Terms
Payment for Services must be made in full at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise agreed.
If Services are offered under a payment plan, instalments must be paid in full and on time. Cancellation of a payment plan is not permitted without our written agreement. Late or missed payments may result in suspension of Services and recovery action.
All payments are non-refundable except where explicitly stated under these Terms or where required by law/ consumer regulations.

Medical Disclaimer
Any information or guidance provided as part of our Services is not a substitute for medical advice, consultation, diagnosis, or treatment by your doctor or healthcare provider.
You must not rely on our Services as an alternative to medical advice.
If you have concerns about a medical condition, consult your doctor or healthcare provider immediately.
We expressly disclaim all responsibility and liability for any damages, loss, or injury suffered by you or a third party as a result of reliance on our Services.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes any liability that cannot be legally limited or excluded.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Your personal and health data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
We will only process health data with your explicit consent and solely for the purpose of delivering our Services.
Your information will be kept confidential and stored securely.
You may withdraw consent at any time, though this may affect our ability to deliver Services.

Intellectual Property
We own all intellectual property rights in our materials, frameworks, and methods.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use such materials solely for your personal use in connection with the Services.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or disclose any materials to third parties without our prior written consent. Breach of this clause may result in legal action.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By engaging with our Services, you acknowledge: - Participation may involve emotional discomfort or the surfacing of personal memories.
- You assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with your participation.
- You release us from liability for any claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate Services immediately without refund if: - You breach these Terms.
- Your behaviour disrupts the delivery of Services or affects other clients.
- You act in a way that may bring us into disrepute.
You remain responsible for all outstanding payments at the time of termination.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations under this agreement if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including illness, technical failures, or events outside our control).
International Users
Our Services are controlled and operated from the UK. If you access them from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
